Meet the team

Here at There4U, we are immensely proud of our team. Everyone has different reasons for working for us. Some love the flexibility of working around school hours, some thrive off our industry leading incentives whereas others couldn’t ever see themselves doing anything else. People choose to become carers for various reasons, but the one thing that links them is that they are all compassionate, patient and truly want to make a difference to someone’s life.

Due to continual expansion, we are looking to recruit Homecare Workers in Salisbury and Amesbury – for more information on these roles, call 01722 774444

How long have you worked for There4U? 2 years 2 months

What’s were your previous jobs or your background before working at There4U?
I was a chef for 15 years working alongside the army as a Civilian was trained by army chefs before spending a few years catering at Salisbury District Hospital. I then spent 1 year and 3 months with another care company before joining There4u.

What made you apply for a role at There4U?
I knew Kim before joining There4u, so when my job at the previous care company wasn’t quite the right fit for myself and family I contacted Kim to see if There4u would consider taking me on with hours that would fit my family better.

What’s the best thing about your actual job? I love both aspects of my job role, going out and assisting people to live as independently as possible in their own homes is just magical and training the girls to the high standards that There4u sets is amazing, I’d always wanted to teach but never felt I would be able to, however Jo, Kim and Dana believed in me and gave me the opportunity and trust to do the job role.

What’s the best thing about working for There4U? The flexibility for me to be a mother first and the chance to follow a dream of mine whilst doing a job I find so rewarding and fulfilling.
